Inspired by a 1934 Red, White & Blue recipe from Pabst, this American Light Lager is “Crisp & congenial”, and proudly classic. Brewed by Bust’d Brewing in collaboration with The “33” Room, Heights Heritage is a celebration of American brewing tradition. This beer is timeless, approachable, and meant to be shared.

Drawn by hand, the penciled linework and light shading of the building reminisces its “old fashioned” history while the three-point perspective gives the geometric structure a sense of monumentalism and intrigue. The background includes a horizontal gradient shifting from red to white to blue, matching the colors of The “33” Room while subtly hinting to the Red, White & Blue Lager that this recipe is based on.

Typographically, Lapture is a traditional serif typeface that imbues the traditionality and historical age of this beer’s inspiration while the display typeface Aquavit is a modern twist on the Art Nouveau style that was popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s when Pabst Brewing began to gain popularity.

To bring it all together, the scalloped border is inspired from the interior ceiling of the bar which has 3-dimensional scallops molded to look like the foam on top of a full glass of beer. Heights Heritage is truly a collection of memories of Pabst and Peoria Heights through the years!
